The all-new Roubaix now delivers compliance without compromise by introducing a radical new Future Shock 2.0 that gives you more control and damping options, a new Pavé seatpost that creates the most balanced Roubaix to date, aerodynamics that equal the Tarmac, and a Rider-First Engineered™ frame that tips the scales below 900 grams. Is it still comfortable? Sure, but don’t call it a comfort bike, because performance was behind every engineering decision. This is the new Roubaix.

The new Roubaix frame delivers the perfect balance of aerodynamics, light overall weight, and compliance. Its tube shapes take cues from the Venge, and when tested in the Win Tunnel, are as aero as the Tarmac SL6. A Rider-First Engineered™ design, meanwhile, ensures optimal stiffness and compliance across all sizes, as well as a frame weight below 900 grams.

THE NEW FUTURE SHOCK

The all-new Future Shock 2.0 delivers 20mm of axial compliance via a hydraulic damper. This new system uses an oil port to simultaneously control the compression and rebound damping, while an easy-to-access dial above the stem enables you to make on-the-fly damping adjustments.

COMPLIANCE WITHOUT COMPROMISE

The completely new Pavé seatpost is the first compliant AND aerodynamic seatpost. Starting with the same D-shape design found on the Tarmac, they built additional flex into the upper and developed a new drop-clamp design in the frame. This makes the rear compliance perfectly balanced with the front-end, so you get a smooth, balanced ride no matter what.

Specialized utilized data from over 7,700 Retül Fit Sessions, and more than 25,000 Match Sessions, and now definitively says that there’s no notable difference between how a man or woman fit on a bike.
