Maintenance Clinics with the Wolfpack

Join the all-female racing team the Wolfpack for a three-part women's only maintenance clinic series to cover the basics in an intimate, relaxed environment. The Wolfpack will be there to share their personal experiences the importance of knowing "the basics." After each clinic, they will hold a question/answer forum about getting into racing. The $10 registration fee reserves your spot!

Wolfpack, formerly Athlete Architecture, is an Austin-based elite women’s cycling team. Starting as a team of new, entry-level racers, the team rapidly developed over three seasons into a powerhouse all-female road racing team. A major presence in the Texas cycling scene, Wolfpack is comprised of an elite squad of category 1 and 2 racers, a development and master’s team of category 3 and 4 racers, and a junior racer.

Feb 6 - Part I: The Basics 
Bicycle Sport Shop, Parmer from 6:30-8 PM
For Part I, we will go over the basics, such as putting air in your tires (Presta vs. Schrader), cleaning/lubing chain, and putting your chain back on if it falls off.

March 6 - Part II: Flat Repair
Bicycle Sport Shop, Lamar from 6:30-8 PM
Bring your front wheel in and participate in a hands-on clinic for Part II.

April 3 - Part III: Torque
Bicycle Sport Shop, Research from 6:30-8 PM
Part III will cover everything you need to know about torque wrenches: what they are, how to use them, why they're important, and how they can save you from making an expensive mistake.
