Is it too early for Cyclocross? We don’t think so, not when the race season starts mid-September! It’s time to dust off your cyclocross bike, or get some dust on your new bike, AND refresh or gain some new skills. BSSCX will host a 4-week refresher/beginner clinic to sharpen your skills on mounts/dismounts, cornering, braking, sand, barriers, bike carries, race starts, etc. Each week a different batch of skills will be covered. Our Club Captains and members with all their CX knowledge and skills will be there to teach, encourage, and make you more confident in your CX skillset.

At the Southeast Metro Park clinics, special guest speaker Coach Sean Ahmadi will be covering proper pre-race warm-up, specific strength training, proper cool-down, and stretching. These techniques are key to your CX training plan to get race ready. Don’t miss these topics! Here is our schedule:

Wed, June 28:  Mounts, Dismounts, Clearing Barriers

Southeast Metro Park - 6:30-8 pm

Wed, July 12:  Braking, Cornering, Race Starts, Sand

Wed, July 19:  Pull it All Together, Mini CX Course

You can drop in at any time but will get more out of the series if you can make it to each one. We hope to see you out there! The clinic is open to everyone! Tell your friends! Let us know if you have any questions.

  • Bike, CX or Mountain (required) It doesn’t matter if your MTB bike is heavy, you can still learn!
  • Helmet (required)
